Poison Ivy is a plant which is mostly found in North America. This plant has colorless oil called urushiol which is the main reason for allergy. This oil oozes from crushed or cut part of stem or leaves. When this oil comes in contact with our skin it penetrates the skin and cause rashes which may appear within 12 to 48 hours after contact.
